Deep green and deep purple is not here to be cute. It’s here to give your artwork that rich, moody, slightly mysterious vibe, like you’re making something important… even if you’re just testing stuff on a scrap of paper while avoiding laundry.

Deep green brings the grounded weight. Leaves, moss, shadows, old pine needles, that feeling of walking into a forest where the air gets quiet.
Deep purple adds the drama and depth. It’s the color of midnight thoughts, velvet curtains, and the kind of creative mood where you suddenly believe you’re about to make a masterpiece (and then you accidentally smear it with your sleeve).

Together they’re perfect for:

Because these are wax bars, you can rub them directly on paper, carve into them, layer them, smudge them, and generally behave like a responsible adult who has completely lost interest in being responsible.

Each batch is small-batch and handcrafted, so slight variations make them one-of-a-kind. Perfect for mixed media applications, though not recommended for encaustic techniques.

If you want to use the Alchemy Stone for encaustic techniques, it’s important to know that traditional encaustic wax includes resin to enhance durability. Our Alchemy Stones, however, don’t contain any resin, so the wax will be softer and less sturdy, which could affect the texture of your artwork. If you're aiming for a more durable encaustic finish, you can mix our pure beeswax with damar resin or another natural resin. This blend will give your artwork a harder finish, making it more resilient over time.
