These Alchemy Stones are for the days where you want your art to have a pulse.

Deep purple and bright orange.

AKA: the color combo that makes your brain go: oh… this is interesting.

Purple brings depth, shadows, mystery, and that slightly dramatic feeling you get when you put on eyeliner even though you’re only going to the grocery store.
Orange brings heat, boldness, and pure chaotic optimism. It’s the color of “let’s do it anyway” energy.

Together they make a very satisfying contrast. Purple holds the space. Orange kicks the door open.

These wax bars are made for mixed media.
You can rub them straight onto paper, blend them, scratch into them, layer them, and basically make marks that feel more like material than paint. It’s messy in the best way, and it’s weirdly addictive once you start.

Each batch is handmade in small quantities, so every Stone has its own personality. Slight differences happen naturally, and honestly, that’s part of the whole point. Nothing here is factory-perfect. These are wax bars with character.

Not recommended for encaustic techniques.
Traditional encaustic wax includes resin to make it harder and more durable. Our Alchemy Stones don’t contain any resin, so the wax stays softer and less sturdy, which can affect the texture and finish.

If you do want to use them encaustically, you can mix our pure beeswax with damar resin or another natural resin. That will give your work a harder surface and make it more resilient over time.
