Art to Basic Alchemy Stones – Eco-Friendly Wax Bars

These are my Alchemy Stones.
Handcrafted wax bars made from beeswax + pure pigment + natural waxes, and basically created for people who love materials that behave like… materials.

This batch is a juicy little combo of fluorescent magenta and ultramarine dark blue.
So yes, it’s kind of a dramatic duo.
Like a nightclub and a midnight ocean had a baby.

Each Stone is made in small batches, which means they will vary a little. Not because I’m trying to be artsy. But because I’m literally making them by hand, and I’m not a machine. And honestly, I like that. It makes every Stone its own thing.

What can you use them for?

These wax bars are made for mixed media, mark-making, layering, texture, and creative chaos.
Rub it on. Melt it. Smudge it. Draw with it.
Use it like a material, not like a product.

If you want to use them for encaustic

Here’s the practical grown-up note:

Traditional encaustic wax often contains resin, because resin makes the wax harder and more durable.

My Alchemy Stones do not contain resin, which means the wax is softer, and the final surface will be less sturdy.

If you want that more classic encaustic hardness, you can mix the wax with damar resin or another natural resin. That will create a tougher finish and make the artwork more resilient over time.
