Art to Basic Alchemy Stones - Eco-Friendly Wax Bars!

These are my Alchemy Stones. Handmade wax bars for people who like materials you can actually feel in your hands. Not perfect. Not factory clean. Just wax, pigment, and that satisfying sense of “ohhh this is going to do something interesting.”

This batch is a mix of turquoise green and burnt umber.
Which is basically: ocean water meets old forest floor.
Like you went for a calm walk in nature and then accidentally touched something ancient and slightly dramatic.

They’re made in small batches, which means every Stone has its own little personality. Some come out smooth, some a bit more wild, and that is part of the charm. These are not meant to behave like polite art supplies. They are meant to be used.

Perfect for mixed media work, layering, rubbing on paper, melting, carving lines into, scraping, stamping, or just making marks when watercolor feels too “well-behaved.”

If you want to use the Alchemy Stone for encaustic techniques, it’s important to know that traditional encaustic wax includes resin to enhance durability. Our Alchemy Stones don’t contain any resin, so the wax will be softer and less sturdy, which can affect the texture and finish of your artwork. If you want a harder encaustic result, you can mix our pure beeswax with damar resin or another natural resin. That blend gives your artwork a tougher finish and makes it more resilient over time.

Ingredients: Beeswax, pure pigments, and natural waxes.
