If you want to use the Alchemy Stone for encaustic techniques, here’s the practical part. Traditional encaustic wax contains resin for durability. Our Alchemy Stones don’t. That means the wax stays softer and more responsive, which many people actually love. If you want a harder, more classic encaustic surface, you can mix the beeswax with damar resin or another natural resin yourself.
