These are the Alchemy Stones for people who love moody nature.
Deep green and brown.
AKA: forest floor energy.
AKA: “I could paint a whole life crisis in these two colors and it would look elegant.”

This combo feels like walking into the woods and instantly trusting the ground. It’s deep, earthy, and grounding in the way only dark greens and browns can be. Like moss, bark, wet soil, old leaves, tree shadows, and that quiet calm you get when nobody is asking you anything.

Each Stone is made in small batches by hand, so they’re never identical. Some are greener, some are browner, and some look like they’ve been in a relationship for a long time and have started to blend into each other. That’s part of the charm.

They’re perfect for mixed media.
Rub them onto paper, layer them, scrape them, blend them, make marks that feel more physical than paint. These Stones are basically for when your art needs texture and mood, and you don’t want to pretend you’re in a “bright color era” right now.

Not recommended for encaustic techniques.
Traditional encaustic wax includes resin to make it harder and more durable. Our Alchemy Stones don’t contain any resin, so the wax stays softer and less sturdy, which can affect the surface and texture if you’re aiming for classic encaustic results.

If you do want to use them encaustically, you can mix our pure beeswax with damar resin or another natural resin. That will give your work a harder finish and make it more resilient over time.
