Wonderland – Mad Hatter's Masterpiece
There are palettes that are carefully coordinated.
And then there are palettes that look as if someone invited twelve colors to a tea party, gave them absolutely no instructions, and somehow it worked.
This is Wonderland – Mad Hatter's Masterpiece, created together with Daniëlle. A wonderfully strange little collection of greens, blues, pinks, purple, yellow and everything in between. Some are soft, some are bright, some granulate, some shimmer, and none of them seem particularly interested in behaving sensibly together.
Which is rather the point.
Daniëlle describes the idea behind the collection beautifully:
You're invited to the most extraordinary tea party in Wonderland.
Inspired by the Mad Hatter's colorful world of curious conversations, mismatched teacups, and delightful nonsense, this watercolor collection brings together twelve wonderful colors designed for endless creativity.
From vibrant greens, brilliant blues and golden sunlight to dreamy lavenders and lovely bright pinks, each color captures a fragment of Wonderland's magic.
Perfect for creating fantastical adventures, painting enchanted gardens, or simply getting delightfully lost in your imagination, this palette is a celebration of creativity without rules.
After all, the best masterpieces begin with a little madness.
The colors in Mad Hatter's Masterpiece are:
#402 Wickedly
#192 Azure Splash
#255 Tropical Lagoon
#431 Summer Grass/Delicious Apple
#314 Golden Crown
#409 Grape Jelly
#308 Beloved
#430 Glacial Green
#259 Brilliant Yellow
#195 Burning Rose
#233 BFF
#178 Pink Magic
We actually like that this palette doesn't try very hard to be sensible as there are enough sensible things in life already.
These are handmade watercolors made for playing, mixing, putting unlikely colors next to each other and seeing what happens. Paint an enchanted garden. Paint something completely abstract. Paint a rabbit having an existential crisis over a cup of tea. Nobody is checking.
Wonderland has never been particularly interested in rules. Neither are we.
Enjoy!
Much love,
Daniëlle & Mette
