We are beyond excited to present The Green Developer Team and The Green Palette 2024.
And yes, I know. The world definitely needed 13 greens.
But also… have you seen what greens can do? They are basically the backbone of everything that looks alive. So I feel very justified here.
Each artist in the Developer Team chose the pigments they believed would create their ultimate green watercolor, and then I hand mulled every single one in my studio, adjusting the mixes until the color actually behaved the way it was meant to on paper. Not just “nice in the pan”, but alive in a wash. Granulating, shifting, settling, doing that whole watercolor thing where it looks like nature is happening by itself.
The result is 13 greens that are not “just green.”
They are forest greens, swamp greens, olive greens, sea-glass greens, midnight greens, grit greens… the kind of greens that have personality. The kind that make you want to paint leaves even if you’ve sworn you’re not a leaf person.
So here it is.
13 mesmerizing greens like you have never seen them before, created across time zones, pigment lists, and a shared love for colors that actually have depth.
