I’m thrilled to announce our collaboration with the talented Camilla Damsbo, all the way from Denmark!
We had a few of those conversations that start as “just a quick coffee” and somehow end with you sitting there thinking: Okay. We’re definitely making paint together. That kind of coffee.
Camilla has this calm, steady way of seeing florals. Nothing forced, nothing noisy. Just beautiful structure, light, and detail that makes you want to pick up a brush and actually try. And because she’s the author of Ink & Wash Florals, it made perfect sense to create a watercolor set that fits her world. Not “random pretty colors,” but a palette that supports her way of painting flowers.
So we made a collection of 6 handmade watercolors, all directed by Camilla herself. Meaning: she didn’t just nod politely. She chose. She adjusted. She had opinions. And I love that.
And because I apparently can’t stop myself when things feel good, you also get a bonus color. Because why behave.
This set is designed to work exactly the way floral painting needs to work: you need one strong leafy green, one red that can do petals, one earthy neutral for structure, one calm blue for air and shadow, and then those pinks and yellows that make the whole thing feel alive.
The 6 watercolors + a bonus are:
Sap Green – no. 5
Poppy – no. 92
Rustic Bark Brown – no. 95
Cornflower Whisper – no. 96
Floral Pink – no. 97
Flower Core Yellow – no. 98
Bonus: Pink Magic – no. 178
I’m genuinely grateful we got to make this together. It feels like one of those collaborations that makes sense in your body before it makes sense on paper.
And I can’t wait to see what you paint with it.
