Yellow Lemon - No. 10

Yellow Lemon is that one friend who shows up with good energy, fixes the mood in the room, and somehow makes you believe you have your life together. For at least seven minutes.

It’s a bright, clean, happy lemon yellow that does exactly what you hope a yellow will do. It lights things up without turning weird. It doesn’t get heavy. It doesn’t get gloomy. It just stays fresh, like the first sip of something cold on a warm day.

And here’s the thing. It’s not only “sunshine yellow.” It’s also one of the most useful mixing colors you can own. Add it to greens and they get juicy instead of swampy. Add it to oranges and suddenly you’ve got that citrus glow. Use it in highlights and your painting instantly looks more awake.

It’s also the color I reach for when my painting feels a bit too serious, because Yellow Lemon is basically incapable of being dramatic. It just keeps shining like it has a job to do.
