Whispering Rose - No. 74

Whispering Rose is that pale grey pink that doesn’t ask for attention, but still makes everything look better. It’s soft, slightly dusty, and very useful when you want a warm blush tone without ending up in “baby shower pink”.

In a light wash it stays airy and clean. Add more pigment and it becomes a muted rose beige that works wonderfully for skin tones, petals, fabrics, and background layers.
It also mixes well with greens and browns, where it instantly makes the palette feel calmer and mature.

This is the color you reach for when you want your painting to look like it has good taste, without trying too hard.
