Violet Mist - No. 164

Violet Mist is a deep, velvety purple that looks like it has been out late and still showed up looking good.

It’s rich and moody, but with soft undertones that keep it from turning heavy or flat. In a light wash it opens into this smoky violet haze. Push it and it becomes dramatic shadow purple, perfect for night florals, skies, fabric folds, and any painting that needs depth without going black.

The granulation is delicate but present, so the surface gets that textured elegance where the wash looks alive and slightly unpredictable, like velvet when the light shifts.

Basically: Violet Mist is purple with secrets. And great taste.
