Dark Olive Tree (Green Umber)
Dark Olive Tree is the color of being an adult in the most unglamorous way possible. Not “Italian linen shirt in Tuscany” adult. More like “I suddenly care about storage solutions and I own more than one candle that smells like moss.”

It’s a deep olive green made from pure Green Umber, and it has that grounded, earthy seriousness that makes everything you paint look like it has structure, history, and a quiet opinion. It’s the color of old trees, shady corners, forest floors, and that one jacket you keep wearing because it just works.

If a color looks like it could survive in the wild and still behave beautifully on paper, I’m emotionally attached.

Use it for botanical studies, landscapes, shadows, and mixing. It makes greens look smarter, browns look richer, and it gives depth without yelling for attention. It is basically the calm friend who holds your hair back and judges nobody.
