Toronto is a turquoise that pretends it’s here to be nice.
It goes on like a clean, calm blue green wash… and then the granulation starts throwing little tantrums in the paper texture. It separates, settles, blooms, and suddenly your “simple wash” looks like weather, water, glass, and some kind of underwater satellite map. Zero effort. Full drama. Very Toronto.
It’s perfect for sea, sky, distant haze, city reflections, and those backgrounds where you want texture without doing the whole “I will now paint 17 layers like a responsible adult” thing.
Dilute it and it turns airy and bright. Push it and it gets deeper, moodier, and slightly stormy.
Basically: Toronto is turquoise, but it has plans and it didn’t ask for your opinion.
