Sunday Blues is what happens when your brain says “calm Sunday” but your nervous system says “LET’S FALL IN LOVE WITH LIFE AGAIN.”
It’s a luminous coral pink made from Quin Rose, Magenta Pink, and a punch of Fluorescent Flame Red, and it has that rare vibe where it feels both soft and loud at the same time. Like warm cheeks, iced coffee, and a slightly impulsive decision that ends up being the best part of the whole week.
In a light wash it turns airy and glowing, almost like sun through thin curtains. Push it, and it becomes this hot, juicy, mouthwatering pink coral that refuses to behave politely. It blooms. It stains. It flirts with the paper. It makes everything look more alive, even if you’re just painting a circle.
This is the color for loose florals, bold backgrounds, summer shadows, and those paintings where you want the mood to be: “Yes, I’m sensitive, but I’m also kind of powerful.”
Also, the name is a joke.
Because Sunday Blues is not sad. It’s bright. It’s loud. It’s suspiciously optimistic. It’s the color version of turning your phone off and immediately feeling 20% hotter.
