Rome - No. 184

Rome is creamy brown with a dusty pink glow, like old plaster walls that have seen everything and still look better than you.

It granulates in a lazy, elegant way, settling into the paper like warm stone, espresso foam, and sun on terracotta. And then the shimmer shows up, very subtle, very “I’m not trying, I just am.” It’s the kind of sparkle that feels like gold dust on sandals, not disco.

In a light wash it becomes soft and airy, almost skin toned, perfect for buildings, backgrounds, vintage paper vibes, and anything that needs warmth without stealing the show. Push it darker and it turns into a rich, grounded brown rose that makes other colors look more expensive just by being nearby.

Rome is ancient luxury, but in watercolor form.
