Joy is not a polite green.
It’s moss green with attitude. Creamy, dense, and weirdly satisfying, like that one patch of forest floor that looks soft enough to nap on, but also like it might swallow your shoe if you step wrong.
In a light wash it turns into this calm, airy, herbal green that feels like fresh shade on a warm day. Push it darker and it becomes proper forest. Deep moss, old stones, wet bark, and that quiet green smell you get when you walk under trees and suddenly stop thinking in full sentences.
It’s the kind of color that makes backgrounds look intentional instead of “I panicked and filled the page.” And it’s perfect for botanical work too, because it sits in that sweet spot between green and neutral, so it behaves like nature, not like neon.
If you need a green that feels alive but still grounded, Joy is the one.
