Iris Purple Holo is purple with a holographic attitude problem.
It’s a vibrant iris purple that already looks rich and punchy on paper, and then the holo shimmer kicks in and starts doing its little light show every time you move the page. Not subtle. Not “tasteful”. More like: yes, I sparkle, and I’m not sorry.
In a light wash you get a clear, bright purple with that oil slick rainbow shift floating through the pigment. Push it and it turns deeper and more saturated, with shimmer sitting inside the wash like it owns the place. It’s ridiculously fun for florals, accents, magical shadows, galaxy details, mixed media, and all the moments where normal purple feels too well behaved.
This is the color you use when you want the painting to flirt back.
It also has a sibling: Midnight Blue Holo (because of course it does).
