Golden Saffron Holo is orange, edged with hit of bad influence.
It’s warm, punchy, and very clean on paper, and then the holo particles show up and start acting like they own the place.
The base color is a rich golden orange that reads clearly even in a light wash. It doesn’t get dull or brownish, and it doesn’t need much effort to look good.
Add more pigment and it becomes intense and saturated. Add water and it opens into a glowing yellow orange that keeps its clarity.
And then there’s the shimmer. It’s not “glitter glue”. It’s built into the wash, so the sparkle appears when the surface catches the light, not as a separate layer.
It gives the color a moving surface, especially in big washes, where the holo spreads unevenly in the best way.
Use it when you want warmth that actually lifts the painting, or when you want your orange to look like it has plans.
Lightfastness: 5/6 (Good)
