Oceanic Depths is a deep green with weight.
It’s not a cute green, and it’s not a decorative green. It’s the kind of green you use when you want depth, shadow, and atmosphere, without everything turning black or dead.
In light dilution it opens into a cooler, muted blue green that’s perfect for distance, water layers, and soft background structure.
When you push it, it becomes dark and dense, and it keeps its green identity all the way down into the deep values. That’s what makes it special. It doesn’t collapse.
It flows evenly, settles beautifully into the paper, and it layers cleanly. You get natural variation in the wash, especially on textured paper, which makes it perfect for coastal landscapes, forest depth, shadowed botanicals, and underwater scenes.
This is basically the green that makes the rest of your palette behave.
Lightfastness: 6/6 (Excellent)
