Cyan Blue is the loud, clean blue that makes everything else in your palette look like it needs more confidence.
It’s bright and punchy, but still behaves like real watercolor. High tinting strength, meaning: you barely touch the pan and suddenly your whole mix is cyan. Use it in a light wash and it gives you that crisp, clear water tone. Push it and it turns electric, perfect for skies, tropical water, glassy highlights, and anything that needs that sharp “fresh paint” look.
Cyan Blue is also a mixing machine. It makes unreal greens with yellows, icy shadows with greys, and it instantly cools down warm mixes without turning them muddy. If you paint mixed media or want color that actually shows up, this one is a weapon.
Basically: Cyan Blue doesn’t add a pop. It adds a personality.
