Color Cube Grande, Field & Sun
This color cube feels like growth meeting warmth.
Field & Sun pairs a fresh, natural green with a clear, sunlit yellow. Together they feel alive, balanced, and quietly optimistic. These are colors that belong to leaves, light, and things that grow without asking for attention.
This cube is for painters who like natural color relationships that feel easy and usable.
Sun is a rich, warm yellow with a soft granulating surface and a strong inner glow.
In light washes it feels open and luminous, spreading easily across the paper with visible texture. With more pigment it becomes saturated and confident, holding its brightness without turning harsh or flat. There is warmth here, but also substance.
Sun works beautifully for light, highlights, botanicals, skin tones, and areas where you want warmth that still feels grounded. It brings energy without noise.
Field is a fresh, earthy green with fine granulation and a soft, organic surface.
In diluted washes it feels light and airy, settling gently into the paper with natural variation. With less water it deepens into a more grounded green that still keeps its softness. Meadow has movement, but never urgency.
This color is ideal for foliage, landscapes, shadows in greenery, backgrounds, and anywhere you want green without sharpness.
