Buff Titanium

Buff Titanium is the color equivalent of putting on clean sweatpants and deciding you’re still a serious person. It looks innocent, but it does a lot of heavy lifting in a painting without asking for applause.

It’s that creamy, warm off white that makes everything else behave better. Too harsh? Buff Titanium softens it. Too cold? Buff Titanium warms it. Too loud? Buff Titanium turns the volume down without turning it boring. It’s basically the friend who quietly fixes your life while you’re busy spiraling over whether your shadows look “professional.”

On paper it lays down like warm milk and old sketchbook pages. Soft, mineral, slightly dusty in the best way, and it gives washes that calm, matte glow that makes your painting look like it knows what it’s doing. And in mixes? It’s pure magic. It turns bright colors into grown up versions of themselves, like “yes I still have personality, I just also pay taxes now.”
