Blue Sienna Heaven - No. 54

Blue Sienna Heaven is one of those mixes that looks completely innocent… and then you paint with it and realize it’s basically watercolor with a personality disorder (in a good way).

Kossoghol Blue brings the cool depth and that slightly smoky blue behaviour. Raw Sienna comes in with the warmth and turns the whole thing into this muted green grey that can’t decide if it’s ocean, stone, weather, or the underside of a leaf. Which is exactly why it’s so good.

In a light wash it’s airy and atmospheric, with that “old wall in an Italian village” vibe.

Push it and it becomes darker, cooler, and more serious, with subtle separation where the blue and the earth tone settle differently. It gives you texture without you having to paint texture.

This is the color you use when you want a painting to look like it has history.
Perfect for landscapes, botanicals, coastal scenes, rocks, shadows, distant hills, and all the in between layers where plain green would look like you bought the wrong tube.
