Bark - No. 95

Bark isn’t here to be “a brown.” Bark is here to call your bluff.

This is the brown that shows up, crosses its arms, and goes:
“Cool. So… do you actually know where the light is coming from?”

It’s deep, earthy, and a little rude in the best way. Tree trunk. Wet soil. Old wood. The kind of brown that makes a painting look like it has been outside and paid rent.

In a light wash it’s warm and woody. Push it and it goes dark and heavy without going dead grey. It’s basically the color of consequences, but also the color that saves your painting when things start looking too cute.

And yes, it makes black feel unnecessary. Because Bark is already doing the job. With attitude.
