Barcelona - No. 264

Barcelona is that soft purple that looks harmless… until you put it on paper and it starts acting like it owns the place.

It’s a granulating lavender lilac with a dusty, sun warmed undertone, like purple shadows on old stone walls, peachy light bouncing off buildings, and a little lipstick left on a coffee cup after a too long lunch. It settles into the texture of the paper with that dry, stylish Barcelona vibe: relaxed, elegant, and slightly unbothered.

In a light wash it turns into a hazy pastel violet that feels airy and Mediterranean. Push it, and it deepens into moody lilac grey with granulation that makes even a lazy blob look like you planned it.

Basically: Barcelona is soft purple… with sunglasses.
