Amsterdam - No. 189

Amsterdam is a soft, light green that looks like it has been diluted with canal water and good decisions.

It’s airy and calm, but the granulation keeps it from being polite. It settles into little leafy freckles across the wash, so even a simple layer gets that lived in texture, like old walls with ivy, spring moss on stone, or reflections that can’t sit still.

In a light wash it feels fresh and almost minty, like new leaves that are still deciding what kind of green they want to be. Push it darker and it turns more botanical, still gentle, just with a little more backbone. Perfect for foliage, pale shadows, weathered architecture, and those quiet background greens that make everything else look smarter.
