It controls the water, the tides, the ebb and flow. It is never the same, always transforming and moving forward. I see the same thing in the flowing and transparent colors of watercolor. Just as the moon is unique, the watercolors from Art to Basic are unique too; no two pans are the same, since they are all handmade by Mette. Watercolor is water, just as the moon affects our tides. Not the bright purple people often imagine, but a softer, dustier shade that seemed to disappear into the evening light. Not black, never completely, but layered with charcoal and cool shadows. That became Storm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"1582\" data-start=\"1417\"\u003eAnd outside the little florist's shop, old terracotta pots stood beside pale roses, worn brick and sun-faded walls. They are highly granulating colors that separate, bloom and create their own textures on the paper. I rarely try to control them completely.
